Effective date: October 17, 2026
Kuush Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Qubee Kids mobile application (the “App”). Qubee Kids is a free educational app for children, including learning the Afaan Oromo alphabet and related early-learning content in Afaan Oromoo and English. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you or your child uses the App.
The App is designed for children and is intended to be used with a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian must accept our in-app privacy notice before a child may use the App for the first time. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
Information we do not collect from children
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, such as full name, email address, phone number, photos, precise location, or contact lists.
Information stored on your device
The App saves learning progress, scores, language preferences, and similar settings locally on the device using on-device storage (for example, through the device’s app storage mechanisms). We do not operate a user account system for children and do not sync this learning data to our own servers as part of normal App use.
Information you choose to send us
If a parent or guardian uses feedback or contact options (such as email), any information included in that message (for example, email address and message content) is sent by the parent’s email app and is used only to respond to that inquiry.
We use information only to:
We do not use the App to build behavioral profiles of children or to sell personal information.
Qubee Kids is supported by banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. We configure the App for a child-directed experience and request non-personalized ads (not interest-based or personalized advertising through our AdMob integration).
Google and its partners may still process limited technical information needed to deliver and measure ads, such as:
Google’s use of data is governed by Google’s policies. Learn more: Google Privacy Policy and AdMob & child-directed apps.
Advertising-related SDKs in the App are initialized only after a parent or guardian accepts our in-app privacy notice (“I Agree”) on first use.
We do not run behavioral analytics or user tracking in the App. We do not send custom analytics events about your child’s learning activity to our analytics products.
The App may include Google Firebase components for basic app infrastructure. Where Firebase Analytics is present in the software, we configure the App so that analytics collection is turned off in the application. This is separate from data that Google processes when serving ads through AdMob (Section 4).
The App may rely on the following types of third-party services:
We do not use third-party advertising beyond AdMob as described above, and we do not use push notifications to market to children.
The App is a native mobile application, not a website. We do not set browser cookies in the App. Third-party ad and platform SDKs may use device identifiers or similar technologies on the device to provide their services, subject to their own policies and our child-directed, non-personalized ad configuration.
We designed Qubee Kids with children’s privacy in mind. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 in the ways described in Section 2. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it from our systems (if we hold any).
Parental rights may include, where applicable by law:
To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 13.
On-device learning data remains on the device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. Email or support messages we receive from parents are kept only as long as needed to handle the request and for reasonable business records, unless a longer period is required by law.
We use reasonable measures to protect information we handle. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Because most learning data stays on the device, keeping the device secure is also important.
The App may open external links (for example, this privacy policy or our terms) through flows intended for parents or guardians. External sites are not operated by us; review their privacy policies separately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the current version on this page and update the effective date above.
If you have already accepted our in-app privacy notice and continue to use Qubee Kids after we post changes, you agree to the updated policy. We do not require a new in-app acceptance for each policy revision unless we are required to do so by law or we make changes that require fresh consent under applicable rules.
If you do not agree with an updated policy, please stop using the App and uninstall it from your device. You may also contact us with questions or concerns (Section 13).
